My first jewellery party last night was a fantastic success and I would like to thank the hostess, Lynn, and all the guests for making it such a great night for me. I wasn't sure what to expect and probably most of the guests weren't either but following a short presentation (sales pitch) everyone took the opportunity to have a good look at the jewellery and a few people asked me to customise some pieces to make the jewellery just right for them. It was fortunate that I had my wonderful daughter-in-law with me to take orders and act as cashier on the night, otherwise I think it may have been a little chaotic.
The most popular products seem to be bracelets and I almost sold out of them, so I will need to restock and get busy making more lovely things before the next party in a couple of weeks time.
Other items which were popular as gifts for Christmas were the angel and snowmen bookmarks and key rings. Another idea for a stocking filler are my wine charms which are pretty and reasonably priced, so if you're looking for a "Secret Santa" gift this may be the answer.
I'm looking forward to a Canteen Sale this coming week and then another Jewellery Party the following week, so I hope the next two events are as successful as this latest venture.
